MPM-Winter

Hi gang, how are you all?  Today I started looking through all of last week’s menu plans from the bottom up.  I got some great new easy recipes to try out this week.  Whoot!

I’ll be heading to a blog conference this upcoming weekend called BlogWest in Edmonton, Canada.  Considering my terrible luck with flying, I’m thankful this is one blog conference I can drive to even if it’s a little ways to go :)   My family selected the meal plan for the last half of the week while I’m away.

Recipe Highlight:

Last week’s favorite recipe belongs to the Turkey Meatloaf.  Ours was actually chicken meatloaf because I couldn’t find ground turkey in my grocery store but gosh was it ever good and super easy to throw together.  I highly recommend this one, tastiest meatloaf I’ve ever had!!

I’m an Organizing Junkie

I’d been asked by the food industry to give this talk at an industry breakfast, but 3 days prior to the event they got cold feet and dis-invited me. The good news is, the internet’s a much larger audience than a room full of food industry folks who likely wouldn’t have cared much about what I had to say in the first place. So here’s my take on what the food industry can do, why they’re not going to do it, and what we can do about it.
